Daylight Savings Time Support

If your system uses timed features such as restricted access control or automatic arming you may be affected by the change in DST dates. Systems that have a clock visible on the keypad display or are controlled by a computer may need to have their time changed to compensate for the new DST dates.

The following systems traditionally use timed features.

DSX Access Systems

System time is determined by the PC running the COM Server program. If the PC is connected to the internet and has XP or 2003 Server with automatic updates turned on you most likely have the Windows update already. If you are unsure download the appropriate Windows file below. The files are from: http://support.microsoft.com/gp/dst_it3?systemlist=w7.w28.w32.&applist=o2.o4.sq1.sq2.
