Amherst Alarm’s monitoring agreement is for one (1) year periods.

Some other alarm companies require that you sign a multi-year contract. If the company provides good service at a fair price, why would you need to be locked in a long-term agreement?

Amherst Alarm is locally owned with its own UL Listed local monitoring.

Some national companies and even smaller local companies have their customers alarm monitored at out of town offices. Amherst Alarm has the facilities to serve you locally with expertise. The possibility of mistakes multiples when your emergency signals are routed to other parts of the country. Unlike most security system companies, we keep our security monitoring in house with our UL Listed /CSAA 5-Diamond Certified Central Monitoring Station, designed and built with the highest level of security possible
