SUMMARY Part Time Position 8AM - 4PM, Saturday and Sunday
Monitor alarm receiving equipment and commercial premises on a 24 hour, 7 day per week, 365 days per year basis, and respond to alarms by dispatching the authorities or authorized parties in a timely and accurate manner.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma/equivalent, or higher
- Good reading, writing and basic math skills
- Good command of English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work all rotating shifts
- Will receive on-the-job training and testing on designated equipment.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reports to Supervisor/CO manager.
- Interface with subscribers and/or authorities over the telephone (both incoming and outgoing) directing calls in a professional and courteous manner to maintain a high level of service to the subscriber and enhance the company's image.
- Work with customers, wholesalers and authorities to verify and record all events accurately.
- Performs all tasks in a workman like manner; treats customers courteously and with respect; as employee with most frequent customer contact, makes special effort to provide customer oriented service at all times.
- When events are received in the computer, follow through with proper procedures outlined in procedure manual.
- Monitors and interprets data received on signal receiving equipment.
- Assist in testing alarm systems in conjunction with authorized service technicians/installation personnel and subscribers to ensure proper operation of security equipment.
- Responsibilities also include, data entry, account data verification, executing work orders and distributing to proper person(s). Complete required reports such as alarm logs, database entry changes and schedules in a timely, accurate manner.
- Refer out of the ordinary problems to immediate supervisor, which could include CO/Customer equipment or problems in general.
- Have good communication skills, clear speaking, and listening abilities, as well as understanding customers. Be punctual.
- Ability to work alone as well as work with others.
- Ability to handle several tasks at the same time, handle stressful situations, and be flexible.
- Apply proper judgment in certain circumstances and if unsure, to reach personnel who can handle situation.
- Assist in maintaining the office, which may include but is not limited to cleaning, vacuuming, organizing, etc.
- Assist in training of new employees.
- Perform, handle, complete and additional tasks assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements:
- 19 years of age or older
- Have a phone
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- 10 year driver history from DMV
- No felony record
- No domestic violence convictions
